Time & Place

WHAT TIME ARE YOUR SERVICES?

Our Kingdom Advancing Prayer time is from 9:00–9:30a. Everyone, including our children, is encouraged and welcome to participate.

Our Sunday morning worship service starts at 10a.

WHERE DO YOU MEET?

We gather on Sunday’s at the Spencerville Community Center.

5629 Co Rd 68
Spencerville, IN

We do four things together when we gather together on Sunday mornings to Treasure Jesus together.

We Sing God’s Word

We sing a mix of songs old and new that capture timeless gospel truth. Our hope is that God’s people singing is the main “instrument” heard during musical worship.

We Pray God’s Word

The God of the universe has spoken to us in Scripture and invites us to speak to him through prayer. Prayer is a way we express our gratitude to and dependance on our God and Father. At Gospel Hope, we are a praying people. Throughout our gathering time, we pray prayers of adoration, confession, lament, thanksgiving, and intercession.

We Hear God’s Word

Because God creates and sustains his people through his Word, the sermon is the centerpiece of our Sunday gathering. One of our Pastors, most often our lead pastor, will open to a particular passage of Scripture and preach a sermon where the main point of the message is the main point of the selected passage. Sermons are usually between 35-45 minutes long.

We See God’s Word

Baptism and the Lord’s Supper were given to the church by Jesus for the purpose of marking out his people from the world and encouraging those gathered with gospel hope. We take the Lord’s Supper monthly to remember and celebrate our gospel hope together.

DO YOU HAVE CHILDREN’S MINISTRY?

As a new Church, we are in the process of establishing this crucial gospel ministry for our church family. Our hope is to begin Gospel Hope Kids on Sunday mornings in the upcoming months. At this time though, we do provide a space with gospel activities for our children and parents to use during the worship service.

All of our children’s ministry volunteers will be members of Gospel Hope church who will have gone through training and an approval process complete with a background check.
