MEMBERSHIP CLASS

Typically, a guest connects with a community group and attends Gospel Hope worship services for a couple months. Once they are ready to make Gospel Hope their church home, they attend our membership class.

MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION

After attending the membership class, attendees will begin filling out the membership application. Once they have completed and turned in the application, they are ready for a member interview.

MEMBERSHIP INTERVIEW

Potential members meet with a church leader so we can get to know you and your family, hear your testimony of God’s saving grace in your life, and look for a credible profession of faith. We’ll also discuss any questions about the bylaws or member covenant and consider next steps toward membership. We see the membership interview as one of our first discipleship opportunities with you and your family!

MEMBERSHIP NEXT STEPS

Oftentimes an individual has next steps after a member interview before they are ready for member installation. This typically looks like baptism and making sure your pursuing meaningful membership through participation in body life.

MEMBER INSTALLATION

Once individuals have completed the membership process at Gospel Hope Church, they are installed as members during a Sunday service.
